I’m a Bulgarian-born writer, translator and creative director living in Chicago. I’ve published essays, critique and translations for the Chicago Reader, Publishing Perspectives, EuropeNow Journal, Drunken Boat (Anomaly), Banitza, Egoist, and others. My full-length translation of Hristo Karastoyanov’s “The Same Night Awaits Us All” is out now from Open Letter Books. I’m also a member of the Third Coast Translators Collective, a community of writers, translators and general badass artists in Chicago working together to make international literature happen. Finally, but most importantly, I’m the proud mother of a pack of three female anarchists, aged ten and under.
